The bands holding the cladding sheets in place are now fitted to the joint at the smokebox and the joint between the first two cladding sheets - 21 December 03.

The backhead cladding is being fitted - 21 December 03.

The first fabrication for the rocking grate assembly (nice!) - 21 December 03.

Rog is explaining his excellent self designed timing aids - 21 December 03.

To aid timing the loco, patent rollers are being used to rotate the driving wheels which have been jacked clear of the rails (see below) - 21 December 03.

This pictures shows the gap between the driving wheel and the rail (see picture above) - 21 December 03.

First two rings of cladding completed - 14 December 03.

The valve gear fully complete, but with some un-authorised mods to the paintwork - 14 December 03.
