Three wise men?? - 21 April 02.

This is the bracket, or tray, to which the ATC shoe is fitted. This bracket is mounted between the two leading axleboxes. The bracket mounting lugs can be seen in on of the pictures below - 21 April 02.

Spring is in the air, or rather two are on the ground - 21 April 02.

Standing on the footplate, this is the current view - 21 April 02.

The left leading axlebox as removed from the loco, but after cleaning showing the wheel side. The keep and the oiling pipe to it can be seen. On the top of the box is the other oil pipe for the thrust face reservoir - 14 April 02.
